[1000mp] ORIGINAL FACTORY SETTINGS - HIDDEN MENU 9.1

Hello John:

The 9.1 setting is not a factory default. It is particular to your radio.

It is not a critical setting. You can approximate its original setting by
listening on the same frequency with both receivers, and noting the S meter
reading of the second receiver. Adjust the 9.1 menu to give approximately
the same reading on the main receiver.

Chances are you decreased the setting after the Inrad mod by about 2
integers. You will want to raise up the setting if you have removed the
roofing filter mod board.

73 and Happy DXing,

Mike

I would be obliged if some kind person could advise the process of
reinstating the factory Menu Settings for the FT1000MP V.
Abou 2/3 years back I installed the INRAD Roofing Filter mod, but failed to
note the original factory 9.1 setting, but would like to re-visit the
installation process, particularly the IF gain matter.
I recall seeing an answer to my request a while back on this Reflector, but
am unable to locate the relative post.
Thanks in advance for any forthcoming assistance.

John Powell. ZL1BHQ
