Dear Steve (NG0G): It is possible that the squelch on one side is turned
up very high. Look at the bottom row of knobs. 73, Mac N8TT

I only considered it a problem because until today when operating split I
heard only vfo a in my left ear, and vfo b in my right ear.

Oddly it does. I get an "S" meter reading that matches the atmospheric
noise
and static I hear in my right ear. However no matter where I tune, or what
band I am on, I hear no stations in my right ear. This just started this
morning. I was working spilt fine yesterday. Something has gone wacky, I
just don't know what it is. I did a "reset" to factory defaults with no
improvement.
Thanks for the reply. When I find out what the problem is I'll post the
results. In the meantime all suggestions are welcome.
