[1000mp] Malfunctioning MP.

Phil:

I was astounded to receive your email and was very excited to try to fix 
this problem.

However, despite studying the photographs on the web, I find no position 
of the neon tube power leads that restores button function. I need to 
repeat that not all my buttons are dead--most of those on the lower part 
of the radio. Among the dead buttons are those necessary for doing a reset.

So I know nothing else to do except to pull the coin battery and try to 
do a reset.

If you have any other ideas, I would love to see them.
