Dick, just don't use your internal Mark 5 tuner into the amp. The internal
tuner can be damaged when used into an amp, so they say. I have never seen
it happen, though. Also, if you have more than a 1.5 to 1 swr into the amp
itself, you will get some ALC fold back causing some distortion on your
signal.
As long as you don't use the internal tuner, you will be OK.
There is one other issue. If your amp key circuit draws too much current or
has a open circuit voltage over 100 volts (check manual for this spec) you
will need to buffer the amp key circuit from the Mark 5.
Good Luck with the BS7. No joy here, yet.
