[1000mp] LF ad MF reception on a Mark V Field

Hello there,

Yesterday I browsed the low bands between 100 kHz and 700 kHz
approximately (just wanted to listen to a broadcast program), and my
antenna selector was on the wrong position, which I didn't notice at
first, so the band was of course very quiet. However, on certain precise
frequencies, I could hear a very strong QRM (S-meter going to S5 or even
S7) like around 240 kHz or around 500 kHz. This phenomenon fades out as
you climb in the frequencies, and totally disappears around 900 kHz. It
looks like an internally generated QRM as it takes place even with a
disconnected antenna. Maybe an internal clock which isn't adequately
filtered ?

This is of course not a main concern as I seldom use my transceiver for
that purpose, but just out of curiosity, has someone else experienced this ?

Thanks a lot !

Best regards,

Bruno
