[1000mp] FT1000MP and Mk5 Display Slow

This is well documented over the years.
It seems to be a normal event with the MP and Mk5
Some radios are worse than others, some never see this problem.
My Mark 5 takes about 20 seconds to "Wakeup" if it's been off for a couple
of days.
 
Nothing to worry about.
Enc is a link from the VA3CR site. It refers to the MP, but the Mark5 has
the same problems.
