[1000mp] RTTY question

I have been trying to copy two RTTY signals,
feeding two different computers, with my
FT-1000MP.
I want to run split frequency, with the main
receiver
feeding one computer and the sub-receiver feeding
the other.  Has anyone done this successfully?

It appears to work, sometimes.  But, when I turn
up
the volume on the main, or a strong adjacent
signal,
the "sub" computer begins to copy the "main".

I'm mainly interested in chasing DX, and would
like to
quickly locate the station the DX is working.  I
have
done it by using the A<>B buttons, but have also
twisted
the wrong receiver VFO knob, then have to relocate
the
DX station.

Any suggestions/hints, etc. will be greatly
appreciated!
