[1000mp] FT-1000MP problem (Maybe with bandpass filter relays?)

Hi Doug..
It may be the VERY common problem of a bad joint at the back
of the antenna socket(s). Resolder the links from the SO239 centre pins
to the small PCB behind them. You'll find it on the top back RHS when
you remove the top cover. The sockets usually get pushed back, which
breaks the soldered connection to the PCB. It's a good idea to replace
those stiff link wires with multistrand cable, or else, with a longer
single wire link, so as to make it a bit more flexible.
    Good luck and 73
