Dear Noel, VE2RYY:

A friend of mine, who is a retired electrical engineer I have known since
our HS and University days together, used one last weekend.  Among other
issues, he found that the two most narrow "roofing filters" have the same
BW!  Even so, he almost made DXCC on one band.

    I do not remember the other defects that he found, but he is trying to
get Yaesu to deal with the well documented issues.

    The radio appears to need a year or so of improvements and corrections.
Bless those who purchase the early versions and find the defects therein.
Even more blessed will be the manufacturer who corrects the defects.
