[1000mp] ALC Display During RTTY and CW Transmit

Hi George,

It doesn't read anything significant is CW or FSK RTTY.  Of course it is an
important setting in AFSK RTTY.  I don't use AFSK RTTY so I don't know what
the correct setting is.  I due set the ALC to just barely showing at the
bottom of the scale in PSK31.  I assume you know not to run 200 watts in
RTTY.

Is the ALC display supposed to show anything useful during CW and RTTY
transmit?

 

Mine is slightly over full scale at 200 watts, increases to far over full
scale at 50 watts and then falls off below 10 watts.
