Hi Bill,

There is no Quadra reflector as far as I am aware. I have a Quadra page on

Apart from the VS service centre in Cypress CA, Bill Grassa N4ATS may be
able to assist you. His e-mail address is listed in his QRZ entry. It sounds
as if there may be some damage in the low-pass filter area. Doe the
amplifier operate correctly with the autotuner disengaged?

I DO have a FT-1000MP MK V.  It works well (knock wood).

I also have a Yaesu Quadra amp which does not work well.  It reports a very
wrong SWR (either high or low depending on band) and now had the sweet smell
of frying components.  It does put out full power.

Anyone have an idea what/where I should look or perhaps anyone who repairs
these amps?  Or, if off topic, is there a Quadra refelctor?
