[1000mp] ft100 mp mark v field

HI TO ALL
just joined the group my ft1000mp mark v field devloped a problem , firstly  
i noticed a drop in volume using  ssb but ok on fm on all bands , then  
noticed very poor s meter reading on signals e.g s9 +20 showing may be only s2  on 
meter on the ft1000mp , transmissions all ok with good reports . fault just  
appeared and not progressive look forward to some comments , radio just two  
years old  non smoker
