[1000mp] CAT ON MP

About a week or so ago I posted about having problems with my 1000MP when 
trying to use CAT with some of the radio control programs like Ham Radio 
Deluxe and DX Log Commander.  The problem was that I got a short mute of the 
audio each time tuned the dial.  I downloaded a demo of TRX Manager and at 
first I had the same problem until I read the manual and they talk about the 
Rev level of the firmware in the MP.  The have a special selection for MP's 
with older Rev's, mine is 1.3.  Once I made the selection to what TRX calls 
FT1000MP V 5 my tuning was smooth just like tuning the dial on the radio. So 
possibly if I update my firmware to the current Rev then maybe HRD and 
Commander will also work.  Hopefully Yaesu will still support the old MP so 
I can buy some new firmware...   73 Mike K4PI
