I don't think you need a FIF 232C if you are using a FT1000MP.
You connect it direct to the computer.....you need a standard cable...You
need only 3 wires I do beleive in th cable..So a standard cable will be
ok..There is a db9 connector on the MP or the FIELD....

I have a RS-232C (FIF232C) converter to CAT an FT-1000.
What type of cable do i have to buy to connect the converter to the
computer?
Null or crossover?
