Dear Rob,

The Astron LS series are 24 to 32 volt, adjustable.

The LS-25A is just enough amperage to work the Yaesu
transmitter, and it's the same cabinet as the 12 volt RS-70
types, but needs a fan to make it last longer. The RS/RM/LS
series Astrons are linear supplies.

  I believe Astron makes a 28 v. supply--if I ever have to replace the 
yaesu unit i'll look into running the rig off of two astrons.  Can't 
remember if the 28 v. astron is linear or not.
