I had a Mark V and it came advertised with IF DSP. If you hadn't noticed it
doesn't work!! What you have in the Mark V is an updated Kenwood TS 930S and
the 930S was a better radio at that! I will continue to pop in and make
comments when I see someone getting attacked or making an outlandish comment
about the glory of the "classic" Mark V. By the way a friend of mine sent
his Mark V to Yaesu from lightning damage. He told them to just give him an
estimate, a diagnostic fee, which was 35 bucks. They had the radio for two
months and repaired it and sent it back to him and the cost was 800 bucks.
So you tell me why someone should have respect for Yaesu.
