I had this problem when i bought my mark v
I was loosing audio everytime i turned on the dsp
Yaesu found that was a bad dsp unit. They changed it and no problem after 
that.
So try this: When dsp is on you loose the audio? For example when you turn 
on the idbt the audio dissapears or not? if yes it seems that dsp unit has a 
problem. Try a master reset first. Maybe the problem solves. Good luck
