i guess i have to eat crow; this solution is a good thing to know.  
Thanks mike for reporting it and thanks win for trying it out and 
giving the results.   If you happen to check the other bands i'd 
appreciate hearing how it works on them also,  but 1.2:1 is pretty hard 
to beat.
