Hi Randy,

Leave the radio in Tuned as it only works in the Ham bands below 17meters.
You'll automatically get the flat one above 20 meters. That what the manual
and my ears tell me.

Hello,

I have a Mark V and don't always remember to change in Menu 8-4 the Receiver

Front-End RF Amplifer. I do notice an increase in sensitivity when the flat
response is used on 40 and 80 and also see better sensitivity on 15 and up
when in the tuned position. I see no dfference on 20 meters either way.

I wish there would be a way for the programming to change from one to the
other when bands are changed. Often I'm on 40 meters with it in the tuned
position. Has someone else dealt with this?

Thanks,
Randy
