Subject: [1000mp] Band Data (8 pinDin?) Plug for FT-1000MP MARK-V field
I am wanting to make a cw keying interface for my rig, and use the Band
Data socket (ref page 4 on operating manual) which requires what looks like
an 8 pin Din plug.
Please what is the correct reference number for this plug? I have purchased
(from Maplin) a few plugs they assure me are the only 8 pin Dins available
and none of them fit !
Where preferably in UK can I get the correct plug?
Why doesn't Yaesu supply the thing with the new rigs sold? Yes I know
,cost, a plug per unit would probably bankrupt them!
Any help gratefully received, any G station got one? I would willingly
purchase it from them
