[1000mp] Failed FP-29 Power Supply

My FP-29 failed under exactly the same condx (radio off, PS on) but there was no lightning in the area. From the heat emitted, I believe that something inside shorted the supply to ground.

However, as Hal says, State Farm covered some $2000 in lightning damage on my tower 3 years ago under my homeowner's policy. I held my breath the next year to see if they would cancel me, but my premium didn't even go up. Go figure.
