Hi Zoran,

I aggree with what Kostas, SV1DPI said. I also had problems with my Mark V
Field a few days ago. I added a keying-line to key (CW) the TRX by PC (with
a contest-software). This keying-line was connected to the key-connector at
the rear side.
First problem was that the TRX stuck with "key down" after the first "key
down" from the PC. I could eliminate this by adding an opto-coupler right at
the PC-side of the line and by using a shielded cable. Everything seemed to
work OK so far.
After that, when I connected my normal keys (one straight key and a
squeeze-keyer, both in parallel) to the front key-connector, everything
worked fine except on 40m. As soon as I started to key on 40m with more than
about half of max power, it made CLACK, everything went dark for a second or
so, and all band and menu memories were reset to their default values (as if
I had performed a master reset).
I did not solve this problem yet, but obviously it is a problem of
RF-feedback, and more obviously the connectors at the front panel seem to be
more sensitive to this problem, because everything works fine, if I plug the
keys into the connector at the rear-side.
