I reported that I was looking loss of signal/audio.
Rig would just pop back in and our.

The problem was increasing in frequency these past few days and today it really started
increasing even more and now it's dead, all bands, all modes.
All settings, knobs are in normal position.

Turning the main tuning knob will result in background noise which stops when I stop
turning dial.

This noon, it went completely off.
I turned the rig off for an half hour.

When I turned the rig back on, it acted normal for a few minutes.
(this confirms all connections are made and all knobs, setting are proper)
and after just a few moments it slowly quieted until again there was no signals, just that
soft background noise which increased as I turned the VFO A dial.

I just repeated the turn off and restart.
Both VFO's acted normally, then VFO A quit working, jump in noise when I turn the dial.
This time VFO B is working but I can only receive, not transmit on vfo B.

This really sounds like a trip to the radio cardiologist.
To use a medical analogy.
My radio seems to have frequent right side conduction defect on right atrium which
sometimes results in both sides going into asystole.

Now where did I store that defibrillator?

Any body have a suggestion other than atropine or isuprel?
I've read over the VCO problem articles and this is similar, but not totally.

Please and thank you.
