[1000mp] RTTY and the FT1000MP

Hi Rod...The RTTY jack on the back is a four pin jack with
connections for rcv audio, fsk, ptt and ground. I am trying
to go the FSK route as apposed to AFSK but I think I would still
have this PTT issue regardless. If I attempt to connect the PTT
through the mic jack, I then have the problem of where to connect
my mic for SSB work so I wanted to use the connection from the
back of the radio instead. When I get this issue resolved, I will
post the solution. Thanks and have a good weekend.

Ted I believe the input on the back of the FT-1000MP is for FSK. Using the
soundblaster card you need to input into the mic jack which then provides
AFSK.
If you hear differently let me know.
