[1000mp] Mark V NO RECEIVE

Well I have been expecting some problem to pop up every since I =
purchased my
Mark V and guess what it did.  While the radio was idling in receive =
mode I
heard a strange noise from the radio, something similar to the sound the
antenna tuner makes.  I didn=92t see it, but my wife saw like a flicking =
on
the display at the same time.  Bottom line is I don=92t have any receive =
at
all any where on the rig.  The receive is TOTALLY dead.  Transmit seems =
to
be fine.  It seems to be a front end receive related problem.  It acts =
like
an RF front end receive overload. I did install a noise reduction mod =
about
a month ago, but it has been working great.  I will check that out, but =
I
don=92t think the mod is my problem.  Anyone experienced this problem on =
this
fine radio that might be helpful to me.  Needless to say I am very
discourage about this, but from some of the things I have seen in =
reviews
about the radio I am not surprised.
