I have the 1000 MP. I always bring it to W3PP for our MULTI MULTI
operation. Do a google on W3PP and then view the pix of the station.
Counting mine we have 7 MP's up there. I am a CW guy so mine has 2 250's
2 500's and a 400 cycle filter for the aux receiver.
on SSB I have the 2000 cycle and the 2400 cycle ssb inrads. I never use
the 2400's any more. Put the inrad roofing filter in and my MP
runs circles around all the others. We are slowly upgrading the others
one at a time to the same configuration as mine. One of the operators
has the 1800 cycle SSB filters. Those are to narrow for me. In
retrospect, I would leave the standard 2.7 ssb filters, buy the 2000 cycle
filters and not bother with the 2400 cycle ssb filters since they are rarely
used. For the ssb contests, some ops who don't like the 2000 cycle filters
use the 2400's but for me they were a waste of money now that I am used to
the 2000's
your mileage may vary
