[1000mp] 1000MP Problem

Have you asked the previous owner if this had happened before?. Since you have had radio apart I would look at it as if it is something I may have done. A pinched wire a connector loose or backwards a coax connector loose or such. Especially since you say it is microphonic. take a insulated tool and probe around the area you worked in with radio on and see if touching wires or tapping a specific board makes noise. If it does then try tapping to moving things very lightly and see if you can narrow down the problem area.
If you don`t find anything this way then basic troubleshooting is in order start with the power supplies and try to verify those one at a time. Does the second rx work apparently you can access the menues so at least some of radio is working What does it do in TX or will it go to TX?.
