[1000mp] Key click mod to 1000MP Mk V Field

Can anyone tell me a definite month in 2004 that Yaesu began installing the
key click modification at the factory?  I have just bought a Field with
serial number beginning with 4G210 (May 2004) and I don't see any signs of
the mod on the IF board.  The RF board has a dead bug 1 uF cap soldered on
the backside, but nowhere in the vicinity of C1004 (the component called out
in the INRAD key click modification).  I have been told that May 2004 was
the magic month, but I don't know exactly what to look for.  Was the Yaesu
change accomplished by changing the PC board layout, or by dead bugging
parts on the backside of the radio?
