[1000mp] FT-1000 with Heil PR-40

Hello Dave,

IMHO the 1000D is better than the 1000MP-series. I also have the 
IC-775DSP, which in my point of view is as good as the 1000D.

The 1000MP Mark-V (Field) is a very good rig for CW. For SSB I like the 
1000D much better.

Also tried the 756ProII. A nice piece of toy, but I was disappointed 
about its digital sounding audio and not very solid construction.

I still prefer the rigs of the 90's (1000D, 77DSP, 950SDX), but looking 
forward to the FT-2000...
