[1000mp] I was barred from the ft9000-ft2000 yahoo group

Geeeeez,

I have owned the Orion I and now own the Orion II (using the Orion since
2003), and planning to buy a second II to replace my Icom 775DSP. The rig
is absolutely outstanding and performs significantly better that any of the
Kenwood's (930/950), Yaesu (1000mp), and Icoms (765/775DSP) I've owned. I
have had less issues with the Orion than any of the rigs mentioned above.
And what few issues that I have had has been fixed without having to send
the thing in and pay for that pleasure, or buy a new rig to fix the design
issues.

The 'magnitude of Orion owners' (?????????) mentioned below amazes me that
some one would make such a statement; I would like to see that survey.
Simply put, the Orion pulls stations out of the noise that NONE of my rigs
that I have owned in my 43 years of hamming or other models that I've
operated have not been able to accomplish.

A comment from this 'Magnitude of satisfied folks'. (PS: yep, the rig
doesn't look as pretty as the other companys' rigs, but at 5 to 7 more
thousand dollars you can get that and by definition you are satisfied.)

Scott,
thanks for teaching me so much about things. Its nice to have people
like you. I am so much better for it. I now have a complete understanding of
amateur radios and I owe it all to you.
