[1000mp] MARK V Died

Jim,

Your problem is most likely in the crowbar circuit of the power
supply.  I had one that did the same thing and I think it was
the zener (and a couple transistors) in the high voltage over-
voltage shutdown.

I hope that's all it is for you ... if the main regulator IC
is bad, Yaesu will scrap the supply and want $500 to replace
it.
