[1000mp] no power on ssb

There is a slide switch located under the panal where the VOX and other 
adjustments are made. Try moveing that switch.

I never worked with a Alpha 99. I would think there is a plug for Amp keying 
to connect to your 1000mp. Try locating this plug and before plugging it 
into your rig simply short the center conductor to ground. I don't think 
there should me any hi-voltage across this plug but you might want to put a 
voltage meter on it to make sure. The plug on the 1000mp I belive marked TX 
GND.
