If your amp requires low voltage/low current to control TX mode, you could
use the conrol pin on the the band data jack and just disable the relay with
the rear-panel switch. This would get you back on the air and enable you to
put off solving that relay problem until you decide to sell the radio, if
desired. This also eliminates the relay's click when you transmit.
That jack does require the infamous D8/262 plug, which is often hard to
find--but if you bought your radio new, Yaesu gave you one.

Hello, If anyone has the board that the relay is on that switches your
Linear from xmit to recieve I could use it. Mine went bad (sticks) and in
the process of trying to remove it I quess I butchered the board, I realize
this a shot in the dark but any help would be appreciated. Xcvr works fine
I just can't use the Amp. Tnx
