[1000mp] Roofing Filter

Before installing the roofing filter, I checked my IF gain setting (hidden 
menu 9-1) and it was 31.  I believe most were claiming that the setting was 
between 11 to 13 and that they had to reduce it one or two units after the 
mod.  Why is mine set at 31?
