[1000mp] Serial Port Dead

The manual for the MARK V Field model clearly states on page 86 "Purchase a
standard serial cable(not the so called "null modem" type) ensuring it has
the correct gender and number of pins" For whatever reason Yaesu did not
follow standard convention with regards to the gender and this can be
confused with being a null modem type.

i had to use a null modem connector with mine.
