[1000mp] who fixed MP's???

My MP exhibits the symptoms similar to the VCO problem.
It suddenly goes dead for x amount of time.
Sometimes VFOA only but occasionally it effected both VFO's.

Sometimes it's really quick LOS and reaquisition of signal, as if it had a 
intermittent antenna.
but that's not the case, as it will not transmit during such an episonde.

Others have been kind enough to explain the adjustment of the vco's, which I 
have done carefully and meticulously.
(all reading were within +/- even before tweaking).

I've inspected the boards, reseated everything I could safely. (I fear 
making it worse).

I can't make it quit, I can't make it not stop working.

I'm afraid to send it back to Yaesu in CA. Hate to pay money and get a 
'could not duplicate', 'never heard of this problem' type response.

So my question is....who were the repair persons who has succesfully 
corrected this problem in the past?

If anyone can give me direct advice that there unit was repaired can advise 
me, I'd appreciate it.
