I can't tune down to 98.34kHz but the 'blob' (rx muting while the vco
relocks to a new 'big step' in frequency?) is certainly more obvious at
106.5kHz. An interesting curiosity but no observed disadvantage on this
FT1000MP MkV Field - which leads me to suspect that may be more of a
problem on some samples of the MP than others.
