[1000mp] While tuningup/down the band hearing blobs FT1000MP

Ok if it's not a tone type of noise that rules out "Birdies"....it's
probably the slight click one hears as the radio band switches shifting
between bandpass filters and synthesizers...and that is normal. Mine sounds
like a slight interruption of the background noise....you can usually back
up once you hear this and repeat it at that given location. That is a
normal noise...personally I have noticed that on every bandswitching radio I
have ever owned....it is a little different in each radio but I've noticed
it on my MP, an Icom R-75 and an Icom 756Pro II. I'll have to listen for it
on my "D" model next time but I expect I will find it there as well.

Cecil...

Pete, I'll check serial no later, manufactures . date is 2003 so it's one of
the later ones I believe.
What Pete N4ZR say's is correct blob is not the correct description it is
more like a soft click. even the QRG was correct Hi

Frans......

PS.
The radio will be stripped next week anyway due to the fried MAX232 from the
CAT, so have her checked for poor groundings ect.
