Every radio design has it's particular issues. They didn't have issues with 
the earlier D series which also used the DDS type VCO modules....no reason 
to believe the 2000 or 9000 will inherit the problems of the MP....and 
everybody didn't experience the problem.

Only time will tell what the weak area of the FT-2000 will be....I think the 
9000 has already experienced a few....all radio's have them..Period!  There 
is no such thing as a perfect radio...while they have all gotten better in 
performance and feature sets they are still designed and made by humans with 
there inherent flaws....  It's all a balance of trade offs.....

Yes right, found several on 14MHz but every band have is or her blobs. If 
this is a synthesizer problem than I must amid I would think twice before I 
buying a FT2000 or 9000....!
