Recent problem ...
Output power dropped to 100W max.
SWR's start at 2.5:1 and will climb off the scale while transmitting.
Finding: Two nights ago, Jamaica is heard on 14.199 @ a true 15 over 9. This
same station is received with a clear 5x9 on 14.214, .165, .148, and .137 at
the same time. I put it on "dual" on 2 of these frequencies and heard a
strong Maryland station working it and coming in on both frequencies also.
I can run the ant. tuner. It now runs a bit longer. It will shut off. I can
redo this procedure 2 more times and it tries to retune again w/o
transmitting in between.
Anyone know a good specialist?
Bob
