Bob,

Maybe this is a dumb question, but since you didn't specify, are you 
using the "PKT" mode? The "RTTY" mode is only for FSK, not AFSK. It is 
also probably better to feed your sound card audio to the Packet jack. 
If you use the Patch jack, you should disconnect your mike, and might 
also have to run in LSB mode, which might keep you from using your 
narrow filters.
