Hi Ed,
If you have an amplifier after the MP and that amp need only 10W in drivingpower,
it´s not good for the amp to be driven with 200W. I am sure something ughly will
happen with the amplifier if you drive it to hard.
The MP Mark V is not really linear when you drive it over 100W, as many tests
have confirmed!

In the regulations it says:   You should not use more power than you need to have a
good communication!
