[1000mp] speaker RF

Art,
I would take the transceiver to another part of the house with a dummy load and
mic and do some testing. If the unit has no rf feed back, then I would attach
the SP-8 and test it again for RF and "snap, crackle, and pop" but still stay
out of the radio room. If none, then your problem is some other device or
ground loops. Do you have a good RF ground to the outside of your radio room or
area. Like Earl said, find the source and work from there.

Hi Art
I am using the lead that came with the SP8 I am
sure that yaesu has used shielded cable well I hope
they have.
I have put on a ferrite and wound as much of the
cable as I could around it and touch wood the cracks
and bangs have stopped (touch wood).
Something I forgot to mention I can hear my voice on
the rigs own internal speaker as well thanks for all
the suggestions I am very very grateful and hopefully
i will get this problem sorted out with all your help
Thanks again 73's Robin mi5rjs
