Hello Robert:

Please share a little more info. How much power are you running when you
have the problem with talkback from your MP?

What is the proximity of your antenna to your MP? Is your shack located on
an upper floor at an elevation closer to your beams height?

Does the talkback intensity vary with your beam heading? Does your MP have
talkback when working into other antennas or even a dummy load?

It is hard to say whether a ground inside the radio is amiss, or too much RF
being picked up on the coax shield. There are simple approaches to handle
the RF on the shield like the use of inexpensive line isolators.

Please update us.

73 and Happy Dxing,

Mike
