[1000mp] Yaesu Mark V & FL-2100 Series

Hello Ed:
Perhaps the relay timing on my QSK amplifiers is different then in your
amplifier, meaning the input relay does not close until after the output is
closed. This delay may eliminate the inputting of the spike to the amp, and
cause me not to see the spike in the amplifier output.
I have seen the spikes with PTT, which I associated with something in the
mic preamp circuit, as the spikes were not present with MOX operation. I
thought they may be caused by some internal mechanical noise in my MD 200
push to talk switching. I do not see spikes with VOX operation either,
which is my main mode of operation. If you decrease the mic gain and
processor gain, do the spikes still persist?
Thanks for your input.
73,
Mike
