[1000mp] Key Click mod

The software was HamScope, which MMTTY software to work RTTY, but I had been
told to download the latest version of MMTTY and copy it over the version
that came with Hamscope because it was a newer version. I worked RTTY and
PSK. Used it a few times to copy some high speed CW.

Hamscope interfaces with DXBase, my logging program, and June last year I
played in a RTTY contest (I don't do contest). There are a possible 45
macros and I programmed 3 or 4 of them. With about 3 or 4 clicks of the
mouse I had called the station, worked them and had them logged. It was
fun. Will probably do it again sometime.

No VHF, only HF.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the reply. What software are you using? What modes are you
using? Do you use the Rascal on both VHF and HF? I notice that bux also
has cables for the two meter stuff as well as the hf.

I'm using the Rascal. If you get the cable for your rig it plugs altogether
and works FB. I need a Y connector for Line Out, since I have speakers
plugged in, but that was a short trip to Radio Shack. From the time I got
it and had things running was less than 10 minutes.

I'm considering using some sort of sound card interface with my laptop to
the Mark V. I've been using the Kam Plus with good success however I would
like to eliminate all the extra wires and boxes. Seems like there are a lot
of options out there and would be interested in your experiences. Bux.com
advertises something called the Rascal. If you are using such a setup I
would be interested in your experiences.
