[1000mp] Output Power Mark V

Just purchased a new 1000MP Mark V and I am concerned about what I am =
seeing
on the output power. Obviously the main reason I selected the Mark V =
over
the field was output power. I know that output power can be affected by
several things, but when using a dummy load most, if not all of those
things, should be eliminated. Here is my situation with the RF power
control all the way to the right the watt meter bar on the radio shows =
the
200 watt output, but the power meter that is built in with the dummy =
load
only shows a carrier output on AM of 100 watts. On SSB with the mic =
gain
fully opened the power on the built in meter doesn=92t even break 50 =
watts
with modulation. This is true throughout the bands, but of course with a =
1:1
SWR with a dummy load it should be the same throughout the bands. Can
someone give me some advices on my concern. I only have a few days left
under HRO=92s defect exchange policy and I don=92t want to get stick =
with a
power lemon. My new Mark 5, power wise isn=92t any better than my old
FT-101ZD.
