[1000mp] Fw: Strange Problem Frequency or Mode Change

Don't know if it's related, but when new, my Field's main VFO would 
scan down in frequency whenever the NB was engaged and the Contour 
control was set to the middle (orange) position. Scan rate was about 
100 Hz/second. It was not intermittent... happened every time I set 
NB+contour=orange.

Weird or what???

More weird... I haven't done anything to fix it, but after about a 
month it stopped happening.

Could this have been a special undocumented bonus feature which shut 
down after thirty days because I didn't send in the warranty card.... hi!!
