[1000mp] FT1000MP vs. 756PRO

Has anyone on the list had the chance to do a side by side comparison of the FT1000MP or MKV with the Icom 756PRO or PRO2?  I had a PRO2 a month or so ago, and now have a FT1000MP, but didn't get a chance to side by side them.  The PRO2 seemed to have a very quiet receiver, but it just didn't seem like a top of the line rig like the FT1000MP feels like.  I do miss the bandscope, though.... and I am sure I will miss having 6 on the dual receive rig next summer.
