Can anyone reiterate the issue of the audio amplifier on subject radio.  Mine died and I sent back to Yaesu.  They, of course, deny any "ongoing problems" in this area.

I did however communicate with a person in Tennessee who repairs these radios and he says that there most certainly is a problem.  He says that if you run the audio gain very high that the problem will manifest.  I use a Heil Pro-Set and the volume control is about 4:00 o'clock.  That's high
